Karachi Bar polls postponed over tension in city

The annual elections of Karachi Bar Association slated for Saturday at Karachi City Court were postponed owing to the tense situation in the city.
Chief Election Commissioner District and Session Judge South Ahmed Saba presided over the meeting attended by presiding officers and discussed the situation.
The meeting which lasted for one hour and 17 hours, decided to defer the annual elections which have been rescheduled on December 19 on Wednesday.
It should be mentioned here that the crew working for the elections and the lawyers could not make it to the courts owing to the lack of transport in the city.
