Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Arshad Ali Bhatti on Thursday said that the Punjab government had broken all records of poor governance in the province, adding that he was sure Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) would face defeat in the upcoming general elections. Addressing a party meeting at Shahdara, he said that there were no hurdles facing PPP for the general elections and that it would soon create a government in Punjab as well as the federation. The PPP leader added that people would reject the PML-N in the elections due to its anti-people policies in the province. He said the PPP was the only party that had deep roots in the people of the country, adding that the people trusted PPP and would show faith in PPP’s governance in the next election as well.
