The political administration of South Waziristan Agency on Thursday imposed a fine of Rs7 million on Khojalkhel tribe under the collective responsibility clause of the Frontier Crimes Regulation (FCR) over blowing up of Government Girls’ Higher Secondary School Dabkot three months ago.
Talking to media persons here, Assistant Political Agent Wana Shahid Ali said the Government Girls’ Higher Secondary School Dabkot was blown up three months ago in the darkness of the night due to which 600 girl students of the area were deprived of education.
The APA said the school building was completely destroyed and the furniture was also looted. He said Khojalkhel tribes will have to pay Rs7 million fine due to absence of watchman and looting of school belongings under the 40 FCR. He said Rs1 million of the fine will be paid by the Khassadar force officials belonging to Khojalkhel tribe while the remaining amount will be paid by the tribesmen.
