The US Ambassador to Pakistan Richard Olson laid floral wreath Mazar-e-Quaid on Monday.
The Ambassador said that Jinnah was a statesman par excellence and there were not many parallels to his struggles for securing a separate homeland for the Muslims of the subcontinent. The Ambassador added that US and Pakistan were allies and were jointly waging a war for eradication of terrorism to ensure global peace. Olson said that both the countries were reaching understandings to promote ties in Education, Cultural and energy sectors.
