The suspension of MIBI scans, pre-angiography tests for heart patients, at the Poly Clinic Hospital has inconvenienced patients. The test was conducted thrice in a week before heart patients underwent angiography tests. It cost Rs 15,000 per test, which made it unfeasible for poor patients. The facility was shut due to out of stock material and the hospital administration did not take action to ensure its availability. Patients were being asked to take the test in private laboratories which charged inflated rates. Citizens have requested the hospital administration to take immediate steps to ensure the provision of the facility.
