Pakistan fully supports peace and stability in Afghanistan: PM

Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has said Pakistan is making all out efforts for peace and stability in Afghanistan because we are neighbours and our generations will have to live together.
Talking to an 18-member Afghan Parliamentary delegation in Islamabad today‚ the Prime Minister said exchange of delegations between Pakistan and Afghanistan will enhance mutual trust and understanding and help in better relations between the two countries.
Referring to the recent visit of Chairman of the High Peace Council Salahuddin Rabbani and Foreign Minister Zalmai Rassoul‚ he expressed pleasures that the relations are on the right directions.
A member of the Afghan delegation welcomed the proposal of Pakistan to convene Ulema Conference between the two countries.
He suggested that interactions of academia‚ media and other sections of the society should also be encouraged for better understanding between the two countries.
The Prime Minister assured the Afghan delegation that he will look into the complaint regarding delay in clearance of Afghan goods at Karachi seaport and welcomed the proposal for interaction of all sections of the society of the two countries.
