Khosa hopes for collective effort during India series

Punjab Governor Sardar Latif Khan Khosa has expressed the hoped that Pakistan team will win the T20 and one-day series later this month in India by exhibiting collective efforts and commitment. ‘Our team is full of talent and it is performing at a very good level in international cricket and I hope it will win the series in India to bring glory for the country’, he was speaking at the prize distribution ceremony of National T20 final in which Lahore Lions beat Faisalabad Wolves by 33 runs here on Sunday night at Gadaffi Stadium.
Also present were, President, Pakistan Cricket Board,Mohammad Zaka Asrhaf, President, Faysal Bank, Naveed Khan, the sponsors of the tournament ,President, Lahore City Cricket Association, Khawaja Nadim Ahmad and other officials of the PCB and LCCA. He said Pak team which will be playing two T20 and three one day international will demonstrate a higher level of game to outshine India in both the formats of the game.
The Punjab Governor said that international cricket will soon return to Pakistan as PCB was making sincere efforts in this regard. ‘ PCB under the dynamic leadership of Zaka Asrhaf is taking necessary measures to bring back international cricket to Pakistan. He praised the interest and discipline of a full house which watched the thrilling final with keen interest. Sardar Latif Khosa said it was good to see such a big gathering watching the game and congratulated the winning and losing teams. ‘ Lahore Lions played good game and had luck on their side to win the title ‘,he said adding ‘ winning and losing go hand and hand and one team wins on a particular day and today the game of cricket won in the end as both sides played quality cricket‘.
The Punjab Governor said exchange of sports and cultural events on regular basis will improve relations between Pakistan and India and people from both sides will also get closer.
