A law enforcement agency Monday claimed to have arrested a militant of TTP from Taxila and recovering arms and ammunition from his possession.
According to security sources, a militant of Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) (Wali Group) Zaryaz Gul alias Qazi Jee was going to Rawalpindi from Nowshera. On a tip-off, the security forces conducted a raid late Sunday night and arrest him near Taxila.
The security forces have recovered a Kalashnikov, 608 bullets and two hand grenades from Zaryab Gul’s possession. He was sifted to some undisclosed location for further investigation.
