A three day medical camp set up by Pakistan Navy in Pasni to administer vaccines and grant medications was concluded on Sunday.
More than 100,000 residents of Pasni and its peripheral areas benefited from the biannual medical facility of Pakistan Navy. Paramedical units and a team of specialists were deputed at the camp which was equipped with ultrasound, ECG, X-ray and blood test facilities apart from ENT, Dermatology, Dentistry, Gynecology, and child care facilities. A seminar was also organised in collaboration with the camp to educate the populace on personal health, hygiene, child healthcare, preventions of diseases and sanitation of living areas.
Navy also commissioned a 100 bed hospital PNS Darmanjah at Ormara to provide comprehensive medical facility to the local populace of Ormara and the adjoining areas. Navy is also investing in education with an aim to increase the literacy rate in Gwadar and Ormara areas through Bahria foundation and Bahria Model Schools.
