At least 52 suspected criminal people were arrested during an overnight search operation in the city area of Mehmoodabad.
The Rangers personnel, sealing all entrances and exits of the area with the help of at least 50 mobiles, conducted the house to house search in Mehmoodabad-1 to 6 under heavy armed guard.
The Rangers arrested at least 52 suspected people in an operation against the criminal elements. There are reports that weapons were also recovered from some of the arrested persons. The operation is still in progress.
The Rangers officials however declined to comment on the arrested people or seized firearms, saying details of the operation will be given after its completion.
