Police arrested 54 men, including Asmatullah, a son of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan’s Karachi chapter deputy chief and recovered 15 fugitives.
The raid was conducted by Khwaja Ajmer Nagri police and Asmatullah was arrested in the vicinity of North Karachi grid station.
Moreover, west zone police stations arrested 21 suspected proclaimed offenders on Saturday. One rifle, nine TT pistols, narcotics and ammunition was recovered from their possession.
Meanwhile, Karachi’s east zone police arrested 33 suspected individuals, including 15 fugitives and one proclaimed offender. Weapons and narcotics were also recovered from their possession.
