Four people were gunned down and three others sustained injuries when unidentified assailants opened fire at a car here on Sunday morning.
According to the police, the incident took place when a car carrying traders of a vegetable market was moving from Bannu Road to Dera Ismail Khan. As the car reached near Shaikh Yousuf Chowk, the unidentified armed men riding motorcycle opened fire killing four on the spot and injuring three others.
Two of the killed, Ans Gul andAhsan were real brothers.The police immediately reached after the incident and collected evidences. The area was sealed off and search began for the culprits.
The dead bodies and injured persons have been shifted to hospital.
