Two personnel of Tochi Scouts were kidnapped in Bangidar bordering area in North Waziristan Agency on Friday.
According to Assistant Political Agent Muhammad Tahir, two Tochi Scouts personnel named Hawaldar Adil Hasan and Sepoy Niaz Ali were on their way to Bangidar Noob Mandi area from their check post located in Bangidar area of tehsil Ghulam Khan in NWA when some unidentified armed men kidnapped them.
He said that no group was claimed responsibility yet in this regard, adding that security forces and political administration cordoned off the Pak-Afghan bordering area and launched search operation for releasing the kidnapped personnel.
According to eyewitness, the kidnappers took the two personnel to Afghanistan.
