CNG prices issue to be solved by December 17: OGRA

Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) Chairman Saeed Ahmed said the regulator has not received as yet the government’s policy guideline regarding the CNG prices; but, the issue involving the gas prices will be tackled by December 17.
Addressing a press conference here, he said the OGRA has implemented the ruling of Supreme Court (SC) from October 18 to date and nowhere were the rules violated with regard to the CNG.
The OGRA Chief noted the new prices of the CNG were set on the SC’s orders on October 25 and a notification was issued to this effect.
Gas to the tune of 15 billion rupees is annually stolen, the OGRA Chairman Saeed revealed.
