Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has said that the present democratic government has introduced liberal and investment-friendly policies to attract foreign investment.
He expressed these views while talking to Fan Yun Jun, Chief Executive Officer of Zong, who called on him at PM House on Friday.
Jun appreciated the Telecom Policy being pursued by the present government which has spurred healthy competition among the leading cellular companies. He further said that Pakistan telecom sector has great potential and Zong intended to expand the reach of its operations in Pakistan.
The Prime Minister said that the government greatly valued Zong’s contribution to Pakistan’s development and economic progress.
He reiterated the commitment and resolve of his government of taking every possible measure to provide maximum security and protection to the foreign investors.
