Margallah and Shalimar police stations have arrested 24 suspects during search operations in their respective areas, a police spokesman said on Thursday.
Following the directions of IGP Bani Amin Khan, the teams headed by SDPOs and station house officers conducted search operations in various localities including slums, buildings under construction, houses and hotels.
Around 24 suspects who could not produce identification documents were arrested.
Amin and SSP Yaseen Farooq directed officials to expand operations in other areas of the city and asked them to ensure strict monitoring and vigilance of suspected elements.
