10 caught selling stolen diesel and petrol

Islamabad Police Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) has arrested 10 persons for their alleged involvement in pilfering petroleum products and selling them in the open market with out permission. The police recovered diesel and petrol worth Rs 2,70,000 from them, a police spokesman said on Thursday. According to details, special teams had been constituted under the supervision of SP (Investigation) Mustansar Feroz and DSP Zubair Sheikh. They arrested Sohail Afsar, Riaz and Naseem Khan from Sabzi Mandi and recovered diesel worth Rs 53,000 from them, while Irfan and Mushtaq were arrested from Tarnol and diesel worth Rs 40,000 was recovered from them.
The teams arrested Ehsan Ullah for stealing 230 litres of petrol and Rizwan Abass for stealing diesel worth Rs 47,000.
