Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Wednesday said that the victory of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) in the by-elections had proved that people had complete confidence in the policies of the ruling party of the province.
In a statement, Shahbaz said that PML-N stood triumphant in the elections while the gang of robbers had been rejected by the people.
The CM further said that people were well aware of the fact that PML-N, under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif, believed politics to be a source of public service. He said that he had no doubt that the corrupt gang would be held accountable in the upcoming general elections. He warned President Asif Ali Zardari that the days of his leadership were numbered.
Moreover, he said that it was the responsibility of the successful candidates of PML-N to meet the expectations of the people of their constituencies and follow the politics of public service.
