Provincial Minister for Excise and Taxation Mukesh Kumar Chawla said on Tuesday that as the general elections draw near, the confusion of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is increasing further.
The minister said this while talking to various delegations here at his camp office.
The elections would be held on time and they would be transparent and impartial as well, he said. He further said that Sindh had been a stronghold of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and it would remain as such in the future as well. Those who think they could conquer the party, would be living in a fool’s paradise, he added. The provincial minister also said, “The Kala Bagh Dam issue is a dead issue. It should not be touched any more. Three provinces are against the construction of Kala Bagh Dam.” Moreover, he said that in the next elections the PPP would emerge victorious in Punjab and the masses of Punjab would be freed from the bad governance of Shabaz Sharif. Chawla also said that he could not understand the logic behind Nawaz Sharif trying to champion the cause of Sindh rights. He further said that nationalists had never been sincere to the people of Sindh, while adding that the PPP was sincere in its efforts to give rights to the people of Sindh.
