City police gunned down yet another “robber” in an encounter in the Kamaha Road area on Tuesday.
Talking to Pakistan Today, Investigation Inspector Muhammad Sadiq said that while returning from a raid, his squad stopped an unregistered motorbike at Azam Chowk.
The man opened fire and tried to escape, he claimed, adding that the police returned fire, killing the suspected robber instantly.
He said the police recovered four mobile phones, one 9mm pistol and some cash from his possession. The inspector further said that the motorbike was stolen from the Burki area a few days ago.
