Pakistan People’s Party Sindh Assembly members Imdad Pitafi, Imran Zafar Laghari and Sardar Fayaz Bhut said that Mian Nawaz Sharif’s support of Kalabagh Dam had confined his political prospects to Punjab only and his deceptive rhetoric of federalism was exposed. The Two MPA’s said that PML-N aimed to harm the federation and alleged that those nationalists who joined the ranks of Nawaz Sharif had portrayed short sightedness. They added that N league had one candidate who could secure it a NA or a PA seat from Sindh. They said that Mumtaz Bhutto and Liaquat Jatoi both are seasonal politicians and their sole purpose is to run after power and consolidate it by hook or crook. The PPP MPA’s said that after Nawaz Sharif’s rhetoric, even Bhutto and Jatoi labels cannot secure them legislative seats. They also alleged that during Pervaiz Musharraf regime Liaquat Jatoi was granted ministry to construct Kala Bhag Dam.’ They predicted a historic defeat rod PML-N in Punjab.
