Minister announces Degree College in the capital for special persons

The Federal Minister for Capital Administration & Development (CAD) Nazar Gondal while speaking at an event arranged in connection with World Disabled Day on Monday, has announced to establish a much needed Degree College for special students in Islamabad on the World Disabled Day.
“Special children are a special gift of God and they have distinctive qualities and skills. Their education must not stop at Higher Secondary Level and they must get the fullest opportunity to get education at par with normal students. The college shall be constructed on the pattern of Islamabad Model Colleges, and the students will be enrolled from the coming session. The future of these brilliant and talented students should not be bleak and we must provide them complete facilities to enable them to lead an independent life,” said the minister. The minister further said that the entire society should play its role to help the persons with disabilities. He directed his ministry to complete all the formalities so that classes in the Degree College could be started from the coming session. He announced Rs 50,000 cash award for the special children who performed different skits on the stage. Pakistan Baitul Maal Managing Director Zamrud Khan thanked the honorable minister for allotting a building in I-8 sector for the Pakistan Sweet Home project. He assured the minister of his complete support to help the special people.
Gondal thanked the Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) and donors for contributing to the noble cause of helping the disabled people. The CAD Senior Joint Secretary Abdul Latif Laghari, Special Education DG Ghayoor Sultana and other senior officials of the ministry participated in the event.

  1. This is been pretty important for the students to celebrate the events in such like amount and interest because in most of the cases these are even said to be of even more importance.
