Dutch veterans, Aitchison play a draw


The Friendship match between Flying Dutch veteran hockey team and Aitchison College hockey team ended in a two-all draw here at the latter’s backyard.
Dutch old guards halted the young guns of Aitchison College in which Van Pelete, who had played three Olypmics for Holland and won two Olympics gold played a vital role.
Waltering, another big name of world hockey who score the final goal in the World Cup final 1990 at Lahore is also part of the visiting team.
In the first half the game was slow but Hussain scored the first goal and after 10 minutes Van Higfte leveled the goals. At half time both teams on 1-1 and after the first half young legs convert another push through Shahzore. But in the last moments Dutch Veteran team captain Van Pelete again equalized the score.
