The government of Pakistan has promoted Air Commodore Farooq Habib to the rank of Air Vice Marshal.
Air Vice Marshal Farooq Habib was commissioned in Pakistan Air Force on June 22, 1982 in GD (P) Branch. He graduated from the Combat Commanders’ School, Air War College and National Defence University. During his career, he had commanded a Fighter Squadron and an Operational Base. He had also recieved Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military).
