Two killed, cop injured in Mohmand, Charsadda blasts

Two people were killed, while a policeman was injured in two blasts in Mohmand Agency and Charsadda on Sunday.
In Mohmand, two outlaws, one of them stated to be a suicide bomber, were killed in a blast in Yakagund tehsil of the Agency.
According to the political administration, the explosion occurred when the outlaws were planting an improvised explosive device (IED) on the main Ghalanai Road near Sharmakhano gate in Yakagund early on Sunday.
Both of them were killed on the spot. The Khasadar Force rushed to the spot and started investigation.
Meanwhile, a policeman was injured while a police mobile van was damaged in a roadside bomb blast in Charsadda.
Per details, a police van carrying officials to a checkpost in Zareef Kore area was targeted with a bomb planted along the road in Shabqadar area of Charsadda.
As a result, policeman Mukhtar Shah was injured while the vehicle was also partially damaged.
Police have started probing into the incident.

Two suspected terrorists killed in Peshawar motorcycle blast

Two suspected terrorists were killed in a motorcycle bomb blast in Yaqatoot area of Peshawar late on Saturday night.
According to police, the blast took place in Dir Colony area of Peshawar where a bomb planted in motorcycle carrying two persons exploded.
As a result, both motorcyclists were killed on the spot.
Police said the two people were looking for a target but the bomb exploded before time. Police also recovered a firearm from the site of the incident.
The Bomb Disposal Squad said seven kilogrammes of explosives were used to make the bomb. Police have started investigation after gathering necessary evidence from the blast site.
