IG for coordination between police and agencies

Sindh Inspector General of Police (IGP) Fayyaz Ahmed Laghari has asked the deputy inspector generals and superintendent police officers (intelligence) to develop close coordination with different government intelligence agencies.
The IGP, in a directive on Sunday, said intelligence sharing was crucial to counter unscrupulous elements, including perpetrators of terrorism and criminal activities in the metropolis.
He also ordered the police officials to present him security plans for their respective areas on the occasion of Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain.
Police media directorate on Sunday said the officials have been asked to prepare contingency plans, and also update them in accordance to the emerging needs, for the remaining days of Muharram and for the month of Safar respectively.
