A delegation of China Investment Corporation (CIC) led by its President, Gao Xiqing, arrived landed at Jinnah international on Sunday. The Chinese delegation is on a two day visit of the metropolis. On arrival at the Karachi Airport from Islamabad, the delegation was received by the government and State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) officials. An official of the SBP presented bouquet to the Chinese on behalf of the Governor of State Bank.
Meanwhile, an Iranian parliamentary delegation, led by National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran Chairman Alaeddin Boroujerdi, arrived fromTehran on Sunday. The four member delegation was received at Jinnah International by Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed and Adviser to Sindh Chief Minister, Haleem Adil Shaikh. The delegation left for Islamabad yesterday evening.
