Four persons accused for the poisonous medicine incident that took the lives of 21 people were handed over to policy custody on a four-day remand on Saturday.
The accused were remanded for a period of four days to be investigated for the incidents that caused sealing of several drug stores and putting many lives at risk.
According to a report released by the health authorities, the medicine itself did not contain any poisonous substances. Instead, it was its overdose that caused the deaths. The report indicated that the deceased persons died as a result of drug addiction.
