It is binding upon parents to bridge the information gap on various diseases with their children as they move up the ladder and especially impart knowledge about HIV/AIDS.
Jamia Naeemia Nazim Raghib Hussain Naeemi said this through a special message on World AIDS Day. “It is generally regarded in our society that unethical behaviors lead to HIV/AIDS although this is only one of the factors”, he added. Transfusion of HIV infected blood is another factor responsible for this disease. ‘It is important that parents and teachers should impart knowledge to children on this disease’, he urged.
