State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan; on the directives of the Federal Minister of Commerce would provide a financial assistance of Rs One Million to the families of fire victims who were burnt in State Life’s Building No. 11 fire on November 28.
In a subsequent press release by state life, it said that “the Corporation conveys its deep condolences to the bereaved family members. State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan Chairman ordered an internal inquiry of the Building # 11 fire. The Inquiry Committee was directed to submit its report by Saturday.
The chairman also initiated an inquiry under NESPAK to inquire into the causes of the fire. State life also sought remedies from NESPAK to avoid any future fires.
