At least 12 people were injured in an attack at a protest rally called by Sindh Bachayo Committee (SBC).
According to police, the incident occurred in the city area of Shahpur Chakar. The firing triggered stampede in the rally and caused panic. Police said the injured have been shifted to district hospital.
It should be mentioned that a shutter-down and wheel-jam strike was observed across the province on call by Sindh Bachayo Committee (SBC) against the Local Governments Act (SPLGA) 2012.
