Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif would place the foundation stone of Pirwadhai underpass and flyover and inaugurate the Chohar Chowk Renovation Project today (Friday).
According to sources, the chief minister would also address a public meeting during the visit. Preparations for welcoming the chief minister at the public meeting have started.
Shahbaz is expected to announce more development packages for Rawalpindi in the public meeting at 2 pm in Koh-i-Noor Girls Degree College, sources said.
MNA Malik Abrar said that Shahbaz would be warmly welcomed in the Rawalpindi Cantonment. He further said that the chief minister would also announce development packages for the cantonment during his visit.
