Karachi violence claims three lives

Gunfire and target killing incidents in the city claimed yet another three lives in Karachi.
The incident occurred in Shah Faisal Colony, where the gunmen opened firing at a grocery shop, killing a man, Riaz Hussain Shah and injuring two others.
Another firing incident claimed life of a man on Tariq Road. A nine-year-old girl also sustained injuries in the incident.
Earlier, a man Sohail was gunned down in Baldia Town area of Saeedabad. The body was shifted to hospital.
Rangers concluded its operation in Manghopir areas including Kanwari Colony and Sultanabad after arresting over 60 suspected people. Over 600 personnel and 70 vehicles took part in the operation conducted in complete security cordon around the areas.
It should be mentioned here that Sindh Bachao Committee has given strike call declaring the foundation day of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) as ‘Black Day’ today.
The nationalist parties of Sindh are on shutter-down strike today against the Sindh Peoples’ Local Government Ordinance (SPLGO) 2012, terming it a ‘black law’.
