The 10th Annual Sports of Unique Group of Institutions Wahadat Road were held on Thursday amid festivity and colour at the Punjab stadium with students showcasing their talent in different sports event. Mrs. Sadia Khurram inaugurated annual sports day in which over 3000 students from Unique Junior School Allama Iqbal Town, Unique High School Wahadat Road, Unique Higher Secondary School Muslim Town, Unique High School Faisal Town, Unique High School for Girls Garden Town, Unique Higher Secondary School Gulberg and Unique College for Girls Muslim Town participated. The students of Unique Junior School presented a splendid display of Aerobics, Physical training show and athletics amid applause from a big gathering.In other events 100 Meter race, Zartush from Unique School Gulberg. Azka Naseer and Arva got First, second and third position respectively. In short put Hira Ali, Ghanva and Yusra stood First, Second and third respectively. 4 x 100 meter relay race Unique School Gulberg, Unique College and Unique Higher Secondary Wahadat Road got first, second and third position. Director General, Sports Board Punjab, Usman Anwar was the chief guest on the occasion and gave away prizes to various notable winners. M.P.A Dr. Samia Amjed, test cricketer Abdul Razzaq, members of Pakistan Woman Cricket Team Nida Dar and Merina Iqbal Khan, form Pakistan cricket team manager, Azher Zaide also distributed the prizes among the winners. Usman Anwarar declared Unique Annual Sports Closed. An interesting feature of the sports festival was the participation of Abdul Razzaq in an exhibition race with girls.
