The Chairman, State Life has conveyed his deep condolences to the bereaved family members of the fire victim in today’s incident. The fire was erupted in the premises of rented KESC’s office; on the 2nd floor of State Life’s building No. 11, Abdullah Haroon Road, Karachi dated: November 28, 2012. The fire broke out probably at 11:00a.m and it was at the duct of electrical distribution panel. The fire was controlled with an hour after the efforts of the Corporation’s Fire workers by utilizing the firefighting system and with the help of Fire Brigade of the City. Meanwhile, employees from the different tenant’s offices were safely evacuated through the emergency exit gates available at both the wings. The State Life’s emergency exit control system was fully operational. The officials and E.D (RE) of State Life were in due time reached the spot and managed the situation.
