Power crisis in Pakistan may continue until year 2020 whereas there is no short-term solution to the issue.

It said the line losses and power theft of KESC account for 35% losses of the utility. It also said that concerned institutions have been unable to rid the country of the prevailing crisis. Nepra pointed out that the sale and purchase of the utility has gone on unchecked.
