Mullah Nazir wounded, 4 militants killed in SWA

At least four militants were killed and their key Taliban commander Mullah Nazir was wounded as a suicide bomb blast hit his car in Wana, main town of lawless tribal region of South Waziristan which borders war turned Afghanistan.
Nazir, who controls the Wana region, became the supreme commander of the area after the Uzbek incursion.
The Mullah Nazir group, which is opposed to the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan and its chief Hakimullah Mehsud, is allied with another powerful militant commander, Hafiz Gul Bahadur from North Waziristan.
According to political administration of the region, it was a suicide attack targetting Nazir’s convoy.
Following the explosion, there was severe firing in the area which left many people injured. Shops were closed down, while the people present there vacated the area. More casualties are feared.
The Taliban commander received injuries in his legs and is said to be safe.
