At least four people were killed and four others injured in a US drone strike launched in South Waziristan on Thursday.
US unmanned aircraft fired two missiles at a vehicle suspected of carrying militants in the Shane Warsak area of Wana, capital town of South Waziristan which borders Afghanistan.
The attack came late afternoon and was targeted at a house, resulting in the death of four persons.
A temporary halt to drone attacks was seen in Pakistan in recent days, but these have now renewed despite Pakistan government’s claim that it does not support them. The last U.S. drone strike in Pakistan occurred on Oct. 24.
