City police arrested 65 suspects from Pirwadhai Bus Stand and its adjacent areas on Wednesday.
The police took action against the criminals after the suicide blast of Dhok Syedan on 8th Muharram. The search operation was started at 7:00 in the morning and remained continued till 10:30 a.m.
Sub-Inspector, Pirwadhai Police Station, Muhammad Anwar headed the search operation in which three other sub-inspectors, two ASIs, 15 police constables and a woman police officer participated.
During operation, the police search team checked 81 houses and frisked 135 people while interrogation is under way from the arrested suspects.
