Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf on Tuesday said that Pakistan had always attached great importance to its relationship with China and their friendship was an integral part of Pakistan’s foreign policy. Talking to Pakistan’s Ambassador to China Masood Khalid, the prime minister expressed satisfaction over current trade relations and directed him to work for the expansion of trade between the two countries. Ashraf underlined the need to transform friendship between the two countries into a strong business partnership. He said, “We are proud of our relations with China‚ our cooperation on regional and international levels is exemplary.” He said that friendly ties between the two countries were backed by social‚ economic and cultural cooperation in the fields of infrastructure‚ energy‚ agriculture‚ education and health.
