Terming the current mainstream political leadership of the country as ‘inept’, Nuclear Scientist Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan Wednesday said a big change was inevitable to save the country from collapse.
Addressing a gathering of lawyers at District Bar Association in Gujranwala on Wednesday, he said repeating the same leadership and providing them with another chance to rule meant more frustration and chaos for the nation.
He said the people of Pakistan should join hands with him to save the country instead of becoming jiyalas or matwalas.
He said there was no up to the mark leadership in the country and even PTI chairman Imran Khan was not good enough. He said the common man had no hope for a better future.
He urged the people of Pakistan to join hands with him to bring about a change in the country.
He criticized the PPP government for showing disobedience to the Supreme Court orders, saying all educated and civilized societies accepted and implemented courts verdicts.
Dr Khan said eight-year uninterrupted rule of General Pervez Musharraf followed by four and a half years of PPP government had not given anything to the nation except power shortage and price hike.
He said that judiciary can bring hope to the dejected faces of Pakistan as false slogans of PPP like Roti Kapra and Makan is not giving any benefit to the ill-fated masses in this regard.
Reminding former PM Gilani of his statement, Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan said that he (PM) said that only parliament can sack him but look what happened, one verdict of Supreme Court removed him urging Judiciary can bring revolutionary changes in the country.
He further appealed to the respected members of the District Bar Association to elect honest and sincere leaders in forthcoming general elections in the country as it is a dire need that country must be pulled out of looters and plunders.

  5. Unfortunately, Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan's personality, over a period of time, has become controversial. Sincere advice for Mr Khan is to take up teaching at A.Q.Khan Research Laboratories, Kahuta and rest of the time devoting in activities pertaining to the lofty objectives of Islam.
