Hafiz Usman Qadir, son of former spin king, Abdul Qadir, has emerged as the top wicket taker in grade A cricket in Australia by putting up fine performance.
Usman while representing Adelaide club has collected 31 wickets in five matches played so far , showing casing his talent in leg spin bowling .
In a recent match against Glenelge cricket club ,he took six wickets for 87 . “ I am enjoying good form and it is a very beneficial experience to play in Australia and I am confident to build on my form by showing consistency,” he said in a message made available here on Monday.
He said he is thankful to Allah Almighty for giving him the strength to live upto the expectations of his family members , specially his father, who is a mentor for him to teach him the finer points of the spin bowling. “It is not easy to bowl on Australian wickets but I am doing my best to get wickets by maintaining necessary line and length and helping my club to win matches,” he said.
