The government is taking several steps for promoting quality education in underdeveloped areas including Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) to ensure their development.
As part of such efforts a government has planned to establish a medical college at Bajaur Agency and an Information Technology university at Kurram Agency, said officials sources. Federal Minister for State and Frontier Regions Engineer Shaukatullah termed the establishing a medical college in FATA as a “hallmark” of the federal government, adding it was of great importance for students of the area, who were missing this facility. The minister said that an Information Technology University would also be established at Parachinar in Kurram Agency.

Still there is lot more needed to be done in this regard because we have seen from the earlier instances these have been pretty backward and will almost reflect towards better for the education.
