I am raring to go, claims Yousuf

Pakistan’s discarded middle-order batsman, Mohammad Yousuf, is extremely happy about the prospect of returning to the country’s domestic cricket during the upcoming T20 tournament and revealed that he has been playing club cricket in Lahore to keep himself fit.
The great batsman is going to lead Lahore Lions in the tournament, which has been shifted from Karachi to Lahore due to security reasons, and is scheduled to begin from December 2. Yousuf has been out of international cricket since 2010 as he returned back home before the two-match Test series against South Africa in United Arab Emirates (UAE) due to fitness issues.
Later on, the selectors ignored the prolific run-getter, who failed to prove his form and fitness in national cricket. The elegant batsman from Lahore did not take part in the previous domestic season, which made matters worse for him.
The 38-year-old cricketer expressed while talking to Pakpassion that he is keen to revive his career and the domestic T20 competition provides him a great opportunity to showcase his skills. The T20 format is a big hit in Pakistan and massive crowds are witnessed even in the regional matches, which in Yousuf’s opinion is a huge motivation.
