Uzma Shakil, a resident of Gawalmandi, gave birth in the lobby of Ganga Ram Hospital on late Monday evening. Uzma was brought to the hospitals her relatives at 4pm but due to the absence of a doctor or an attendant, she gave birth in the lobby after waiting for five hours. Witnesses said that she was in severe labour pains.
