Provincial Minister for Law Rana Sanaullah on Friday said that despite support from Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), the Chaudhry brothers will not be able to save themselves from the wrath of the people in the upcoming general elections.
Commenting on the statements of Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PML-Q) President Pervaiz Elahi, he said that currently PML-Q was a “tanga” party and after the general elections, it would not even be a “cycle” party. He criticised the PML-Q leadership for siding with a dictatorial rule to find their way into politics during Musharraf’s rule, and then joining forces with Pakistan People’s Party (PPP). He further said that the trend of ever-changing loyalties of PML-Q was not lost on the people and in the upcoming elections, they will reject these robbers and plunderers. Moreover, he said that projects such as Punjab Bank, NICL, Parha Likha Punjab, Lahore-Kasur Road are all examples of PML-Q’s corruption.
