Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif has said Turkey has vital role in development of the country, regional peace and it always supported Pakistan’s stance at global level.
He stated this during his meeting with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan here on Friday. Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, party leaders Ishaq Dar and Chaudhry Nisar were also present on the occasion.
Important issues of bilateral interests including enhancing mutual trade and investment came under discussion during the meeting.
Nawaz appreciated the Turkish premier’s efforts for his country’s development and support for facilitating and rehabilitation of affectees of natural calamities especially Oct 08, 2005 earthquake and flashfloods in the recent years.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan assured the PML-N chief that his country would continue playing its role for peace and stability in Pakistan.

A decade or so earlier when he and his bro were in power both used to shower such lauds on Saudi King because then they were begging for Rials. Now, when Saudi have seen that they are professional beggars and have stopped giving alms the two have turned to Turkey to beg for Lira-Turkish currency. In the name of development both are begging and after getting alms they skillfully scam that money away. As a result wealth & riches of the two are piling up and Pakistan, despite having potential, has become known world wide as a begging nation. Turkey is a good friend of Pakistan like Saudi Arab is. But alms from either one is not and must not be acceptable to any. Pakistan has potential to become financially a viable state and time has come that it must be make a one.
