Khosa lauds Altaf’s efforts for religious harmony

Governor Punjab Sardar Latif Khosa has said that Pakistan is facing multiple challenges and lauded Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain’s efforts to create religious harmony and eradicate terrorism.
Talking to journalists during his visit to the International Secretariat of MQM in London, Sardar Latif Khosa said that sitting Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) led government is making utmost efforts to deal with terrorism, extremism, sectarianism, inflation and to strengthen democracy in the country.
During his meeting with the members of the MQM co-ordination committee, the governor Punjab appreciated the efforts being made by Altaf Hussain towards promoting sectarian and religious harmony and strengthening democracy in the country.
Members of the co-ordination committee said that the MQM believes that the biggest challenges threatening the country are religious extremism, terrorism and sectarianism. They said that every political party of the country should play their role in eradicating the scourge of terrorism, extremism, and sectarianism from the country by displaying unity and solidarity.
In-charge of the International Secretariat of the MQM Mr Mustafa Azizabadi, Joint In-charge Mr Muhammad Ashfaque, and members of the Co-ordination Committee Mr Muhammad Anwer, Mr Anis Advocate, Mr Saleem Shahzad and Mr Tariq Mir were present in the meeting with the governor.
Early upon Khosa arrival at MQM international secretariat accompanied by Pakistani High Commissioner in London Mr Wajid Shamsul Hassan and Community Welfare Officer of the Pakistani High Commission Mr Balkh Sher Khosa he was extended warm welcome.
