Islamabad police arrest 14 criminals

Islamabad Police have arrested 14 outlaws involved in different criminal cases from different localities of city and recovered arms, looted valuables, drugs and a snatched vehicle from their possession.
According to details, under the supervision of Assistant-Sub Inspector Nadir Ali, a police team arrested a gang of two culprits namely Usman Khan and Hayat Ullah involved in snatching the cabs at gunpoint after hiring. Police also recovered one 30 bore pistol and snatched cab No.RIP-4884 from the culprits.
Sub Inspector Saif Ullah from Industrial Area police recovered a Hero motorcycle No.BP-515 from a motorcycles lifter, Farman on the complaint of plaintiff. The nabbed accused disclosed during investigation that he in collaboration with the co-accused Asif and Ghulam Nabi has stolen the said motorcycle.
In Golra Police Station jurisdiction the police arrested two drug pushers identified as Ismail Shah and Bakht Shah and recovered 2.230kg hashish from their possession. Another accused Asmat Ullah was arrested on charges of selling diesel without NOC or permission.
SI Muhammad Abbas recovered one 30 bore pistol with 8 bullets during search of suspect identified as Amir Yaqoob, while ASI Zahid Zaman recovered one 32 bore revolver during patrolling from an accused Muhammad Faraz.
Sub-Inspector Falak Sher and ASI Asif Riaz from Lohi Bher police station arrested three culprtits Yasir Ahmad, Hameed Hussain and Muhammad Ishtiaq and recovered two 9mm pistols with 20 bullets and iron punch, while ASI Aurang Zeb of Sihala police recovered one 32 bore revolver with 3 bullets from an accused Azmat Ullah during investigation. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them.
IGP Islamabad Bani Amin Khan and SSP Islamabad Yaseen Farooq have appreciated the officcials performance and directed all police officials to intensify vigilance and patrolling in their respective areas.
