The paramedics in Lahore and Faisalabad suspended work on Wednesday and demanded the approval of a better service structure. The protesting employees warned the government that a promise of approval of service structure should be implemented soon, otherwise they would consider the option of a complete boycott and the government would be responsible the losses incurred in case of the boycott. The paramedical staff in Faisalabad stopped working in outdoor services and held protests and rallies outside government hospitals including Allied Hospital, Civil Hospital, FICR and General Hospital.
